On any given weekend, the stage at East Van Eden played host to a community of underground local legends and Canadian touring bands – a true collective before the term became colloquial. When it wasn’t serving as a venue for artists to congregate and create, East Van Eden was a working rehearsal space and recording studio for the critically acclaimed*DDG Records (Mad Dash, The Great Outdoors, Kingsway, Nickel City Slim).
In the harsh winter of 2003, five different songwriters from that legendary underground scene converged to record a haunting acoustic series befitting the era. Upon the recent discovery of these
